Huge earthquake in Iran - apparently, this is the biggest quake in almost 40 years.. Fatalities, injuries, and lots of destruction - all because Iran hasn't implemented any tremor-proof buildings, etc. The US and Japan, both earthquake-prone, have building codes that require a degree of quake-protection... Not so much in Iran.

Well, here we are - economy 'recovering' but so many people out of work... and now devastated by a bombing in Boston. Tragedy, disease, despair all around us. It's time to take a step back and look at the bigger picture, and the smaller picture.
